Winery Tours, Where to Start
There are too many wineries to see in one trip. In fact, there are many to
see in two visits. Research the wineries on the internet, pick out the wineries
you would like and visit and go from there. Three to four wineries a day is a
good viable limit.
Most wineries are open 10am to 4:30pm. Some of the wineries may have extended
hours during the summer. A few newer wineries may have free tastings and tours.
Tasting fees are approximately $10.
If you're on a paid wine tasting and tour, tastings are usually included with
the tour fee. If you're on a short weekend trip or planning to visiting more
than three or four wineries in a day, it may be wise to rent a limousine for the
day and have a safe blast.
Wine tour companies know the vineyards very well and can get you to the
wineries you want to visit. Visit here to
wine tasting and tours. |
